About the company

Fable Data are a leading data aggregator and data science company, founded to help key institutions make better informed, data driven decisions. The founders' previous experience in government and fund management led to the conclusion that vital decisions, affecting whole communities were being made with incomplete, stale data. Fable addresses this problem by providing award-winning European transaction data to governments, central banks and universities on a pro bono basis, and commercialising consumer data for investment firms and corporates.

Why we invested

Fable was an early mover in the European consumer transaction data market and are well positioned in an industry which has high growth potential. Fable’s data is of high quality, underscored by their impressive blue-chip customer list, and pan-European geographic coverage represents a strong differentiator versus its competitors.
