MOTH was founded by childhood friends Rob Wallis and Samuel Hunt in 2018, originally under the name Buveur, selling to high-end bars and restaurants. When the pandemic hit in 2020, Wallis and Hunt rebranded to MOTH and made it their mission to make delicious, bar-quality cocktails as easy and readily available as a can of beer.

After countless emails and pitches, the ambitious co-founders received an offer from Waitrose to launch their product in 200 stores. By 2022, they had their premixed cocktails on the shelves in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, and more. Today, MOTH is the UK’s fastest-growing premium RTD brand with a MOTH sold every 6 seconds.

Having recently launched in the US across Florida and Massachusetts with Total Wine, Whole Foods Market and Publix liquor, MOTH is now looking to replicate their growth success across the US, and at Guinness Ventures, we are delighted to be supporting the certified B Corp’s journey to becoming the #1 Global RTD brand.
