As COO of Guinness Ventures, Hugo oversees the firm's day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives, joining the dots between our investment, portfolio management and investor relations functions. He is also a member of the Investment Committee and supports a number of portfolio companies at board level. Before joining Guinness, Hugo gained experience at Sand Aire Wealth Management, where he conducted macro-economic analysis within the investment team. During university, he also completed internships in investment and corporate finance. Hugo holds an MSc in Finance and Investment from the University of Bristol and a BA in Economics from the University of Exeter.
